Ever dreamed of living in a neighborhood that provides a wide range of amenities for all its members? One situated in a beautiful, tranquil area with a lake and golf course?  Our Homeowners' Association is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of residents through community services and amenities.
That's the pitch! But the REALITY, Nationwide, is too often something quite different: Poor quality construction or repair, inconsistently and/or irrationally enforced rules, substandard amenity upkeep, ineffective management practices, fiscal mismanagement and worst of all abuse of members. Â
There are other websites that provide an honest view of HOA's from the legal, legislative and governmental viewpoints, e.g., "Independent American Communities.com." Our aim is to give consumers an accurate and realistic picture more from the social-psychological perspective. We hope to show how dysfunctional most HOA's are and how they are socially and emotionally harmful to homeowners and their families.

Our group represents several current and previous HOA owners.  Though we are always still learning, we already know a considerable amount about HOA's. We won't tell you the typical "Horror Stories." Those are all over the Internet.  We aim to dig deeper - down to the underlying causes. We also give you solutions. They might not be the ones you want to hear, but they're the ones that ACTUALLY work! You can count on us for anything related to HOA's.
